His rankings improved after a strong performance at the All-American Bowl, leading to his recognition as a five-star recruit by several services.
He was ranked by PrepStar as the fourth-best receiver in the nation, listed by On3 as the eighth-best wide receiver and the eighth-best prospect in Florida, and ranked as the nation’s No. 17 and No. 19 wide receiver by ESPN and 247Sports, respectively.
In Florida, he was ranked as the fifth-best player by PrepStar, the 12th-best by ESPN, and the 15th-best by 247Sports. He was selected to play in the All-American Game on NBC and named one of five finalists for the organization’s Offensive Player of the Year honor.
